SUMMARY

The position of Business Development Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in all aspects of the position. The primary responsibilities of the position include soliciting new business from prospective customers, cross selling additional products to existing customers, processing documents and opening any new accounts. New Account Duties include, but are not limited to: opening all types of deposit and time accounts (DDA, Savings, CD, IRA, and Business Accounts) following required documentation and compliance policy and procedures. Business Development Representative must follow compliance guidelines (including BSA, CDD, and AML) and complete required compliance testing. Position is required to be knowledgeable of and cross-sell all bank products and services. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

 

ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

The position spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting, driving, carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching.

The incumbent will spend most of the time performing this position in a professional office-type setting.  The position includes driving a personal owned vehicle approximately 30% of the time, which includes exposure to the outside weather elements and moving mechanical parts, as well as some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc. 

The incumbent for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, copy and fax machines, adding machine (calculator), check protector, scanner and image systems, scanning equipment, encoder, money counter, credit card terminal, typewriter, computer terminal, personal computer, printers, or other equipment as directed.

Additional Information

Full Time, Exempt

SHIFT:  Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; as needed to fulfill duties.
